Avrii Castle was born and raised in Miami to Cuban parents. His mother and aunt were singers, having studied and performed professionally in New York and Miami. He embarked on his musical journey at a very young age, singing in school, church, and local events throughout his childhood and teen years. He picked up musical instruments after his aunt bought him a drum set for Christmas - initially as the butt of a joke. It was then and there, however, that Avrii found his passion.

Castle began practicing daily, leading him to become the main drummer for his middle school. A few years later, Avrii found his musical style backbone in Jazz and hardcore rock music while attending the Academy of Arts & Minds Performing Arts high school. He met bandmate Thelonius G at this time.

Raised in the Christian church, Avrii taught himself how to play the guitar so he could lead his worship with music. He was so committed to his passion for music, that he traveled to Sydney Australia, where he studied songwriting and drum performance alongside Hillsong Church.

Upon returning to the States, Avrii moved to Los Angeles to continue exploring his passion for music. This led him to start his first production company with Thelonius G, where they both began producing music.

For over a decade Avrii has been producing and engineering his way into the music industry. Apart from producing music for his career, Avrii has also written, produced and collaborated with countless artists both in the English and Spanish music markets.

Avrii continues to excel in his craft and is excited to be creating and expanding his career with Monte Cassino. He is also co-host of The HoneyComb Hideout set to be released in July 2024.

Thelonius G or “T” as his friends call him, has been a musician for as long as he can remember. Born to Cuban and Honduran parents and raised in Miami, T found his passion for music at the age of seven after witnessing a Christian church band play during service one Sunday. Soon after receiving his first drum set and training in classical percussion and Jazz drums, his teachers quickly noticed his raw talent and unmeasurable passion.

After an immense amount of training, Thelonius was accepted and attended the most prestigious art schools in the state, including the New World School of the Arts, Academy of Arts & Minds and Miami Arts Charter (MAC). His skill level even led him to become a student-teacher to his peers apart from attending his own classes.

T has performed in some of the most respected venues in South Florida, including the Biltmore Stage, the Adrienne Arsht Performing Arts Center,  La Faena, the Historic Olympia Theater and more. T received multiple scholarships including an opportunity to perform overseas, where he performed in venues throughout the UK, Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany and Austria.

Thelonius G started a production company in Los Angeles in 2014, alongside Avrii Castle. He produced music for local, up-and-coming artists and fully produced, wrote, performed, and released his own musical projects throughout the years.

Eager to continue performing and creating new music, T and Christie came together in 2022 to discuss a music podcast which later expanded to the band that is Monte Cassino.

ADAM DOMINGUEZ

LEAD GUITAR, VOCALS

Born to Cuban and Puerto Rican parents, Adam grew up listening to music influences like Celia Cruz, ABBA, Hector Lavoe, The Beatles, and more. His musical background began with classical piano lessons at age six, then making a permanent switch to electric guitar by his teenage years. Heavily influenced by AC/DC, Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold, Adam dedicated hours to his craft, teaching himself popular guitar solos tied in with his artistic flare. In 2014, Adam earned a Master Class private lesson with Avenged Sevenfold guitarist, Synyster Gates.

Adam spent the next few years away from lead guitar and began taking classical guitar lessons from Rafael Padron, Chair of the Guitar Program at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. In 2017, Adam spent a summer in Barcelona, studying Spanish guitar, took Flamenco lessons and witnessed an inspiring performance from one of his favorite guitarists Paco de Lucia.

Adam spent the next several years dedicated to songwriting with other musicians and eventually enrolled in a songwriting course led by Charlie Puth. Adam now lives in Miami and joined Monte Cassino as a guitarist in late 2023.
